All I Want For Christmas - Day 7
Categories:
We are getting close to the end this enjoyable series of festive fun questions that we're asking members of our team. Day 7 is the turn of Logistics Manager Tim. We also ask Tim what would be his dream Christmas gift if he could choose anything from our extensive range of cookware and kitchen electricals. Name: Tim Rumble Role: Logistics Manager Festive persona: North Pole employee What would be your dream gift and why? It would have to be the Cuisinart Griddle & Grill. Just lately my wife has been making Brie, bacon and cranberry paninis for our lunches at home together. This would save time and effort and would be ideal for a weekend breakfast treat. It would also be great for when summer comes for a small indoor barbecue.
10 Christmas Questions
Q: Christmas jumpers… yes or no? A: Yes, I have eleven now! I buy and wear a new one each year. Q: Favourite Christmas song? A: Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin' Stevens. Q: Favourite Christmas Movie? A: Definitely Elf. I'm Harts of Stur's very own Buddy! Q: What’s your first memory of Christmas? A: Opening my brother's stocking at about 3am in the morning. My parents were not impressed. I even told him what he had got, then opened my own at the correct time. In my defence I was under the age of 5. Q: Brussels sprouts… yes or no? A: Yes, because it's Christmas. Q: What’s on the top of your tree? A: A gold glittery star. Or sometimes the cat. Q: Post-Christmas dinner activity? A: Falling asleep in the armchair whilst my family play quiz games. Q: What is your favourite Christmas tradition? A: It is a relatively new one, but it's becoming a great one (for my wife). As I work long hours in the run up to the big day and on Christmas Eve (when we always end up in the pub for a couple of hours after work), I'll leave my wife a Christmas Eve gift. This usually consists of new festive PJs, bubble bath, sweet treats and wine. Q: Favourite Christmas food? A: All the Christmas dinner followed by my wife's cheesecake. Q: When you were young, what was the one present you always asked for, but never received?A: Power Rangers Dragonzord. I loved Power Rangers when I was a kid. The green one was always my favourite, but as always in my household, I told my dad what I wanted which meant mum never found out. To this day when I open presents from mum and dad he still has no idea what's inside them! They have remade these, so I'm still secretly hoping I get to open one on Christmas morning. I'm still a big kid at heart.
