Welcome to the New KitchenAid Mini Mixer
Categories:
Good things come in small packages so the saying goes and the new KitchenAid Mini Mixer proves the case. Weighing in a full 25% lighter and 20% smaller than its bigger brother, this mini mixing marvel still packs a punch when it comes to power. Read on to find out all you need to know about KitchenAid’s latest addition to the family.
The KitchenAid Mini Mixer – small but beautifully formed
If you’ve always coveted a KitchenAid Artisan Mixer but have a very small kitchen or limited worktop space, the new Mini Mixer from KitchenAid could be the answer to your prayers. The Mini Mixer features the same iconic sweeping curves as the Artisan Mixer, but its smaller footprint means it will take up less space on your worktop. If it is not possible to keep your mixer on the worktop, being 20% lighter means it is a lot easier to manoeuvre and store in a cupboard or on a shelf (although I’m not sure why you wouldn’t want to keep your mini mixer out on show). KitchenAid have also been canny in realising that bigger is not always better. There’s a growing trend of one and two person households and many ‘millennials’ are waiting longer to start a family. Hence there is now more of a demand than ever for smaller batch baking. It might be smaller, but the mini mixer is reassuringly robust thanks to its tough die-cast zinc body. It doesn’t lack on the power front either boasting the same power (250 watts) as the KitchenAid Classic Mixer.
New Colours
The new KitchenAid Mini Mixer is available in four exciting and brand new colours. Hot Sauce (red), Matte Grey, Black Matte and Honeydew (green)with two additional colours planned for release later in the year.
Compatible with existing accessories
The beauty, as with all versions of KitchenAid Mixer, is that the front attachment hub of the KitchenAid Mini Mixer is of a universal size. This allows you to take advantage of the many accessories available that make a KitchenAid so much more than just a mixer. You will be able to spiralise vegetables, make pasta, grind and mince food. You can even turn your mixer into a juicer with the maximum extraction slow juicer.
What’s in the box?
Included with the KitchenAid Mini Mixer is a 3.3L stainless steel bowl, a 6-wire whisk for whipping up eggs or cream and adding air and volume to mixtures, a flat beater with an anti-stick coating for general mixing tasks and a dough hook, again with an anti-stick coating, for mixing and kneading bread dough. The bowl, flat beater and dough hook are all dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
