Dexam Terracotta Bread Baker with Lid
The Dexam terracotta bread baker with lid is the perfect authentic way to bake a medium size loaf. This style of baking traps in all the flavour and creates a beautiful crusty top.
The baker needs to be soaked in water for 30 minutes prior to baking and warmed in the oven with a coating of oil, this helps to maintain moisture and bake the perfect . The natural terracotta material makes this baker ideal for baking, searing, steaming and roasting not just only bread but fish, cheese or meats. The terracotta baker can also be served from the oven to the table as it will retain heat for keeping the food warm. The baker is safe for use in the oven up to 220°C.
