The KitchenAid Artisan Power Plus Blender uses a 3.5 peak HP motor to power its stainless steel blades. That's enough power to extract all the energy, protein and nutrients from the toughest of ingredients such as fibrous vegetables and frozen fruit. The speed of the blades creates a dynamic blending vortex that will pull ingredients back down to the blades giving you silk smooth results.

Featuring four pre-set Adapti programs for juices, smoothies, soups and self-cleaning providing you with the ideal blending results for specific tasks. For example, the juice setting will finish on a lower speed reducing the amount of froth created and the smoothie setting will increase speed through its cycle to pulverise ice cubes and fibrous greens. The self-clean option makes cleaning the Power Plus Blender a breeze - just add water and a little washing-up liquid. You also have full control over machine speed with the precision power dial and high/low pulse switch.

With a robust die-cast base in a Cast Iron Black finish. Sitting atop the base is a BPA-free Tritan double-wall thermal jug which has a 2.6 litre capacity (1.65 litre working capacity). A removable silicone collar ensures the jug stays in place during high-speed blending. The lid to the jug has a removable stopper for adding ingredients whilst blending. This stopper also doubles as a handy 60ml measuring cup. The flex-edge tamper can be used to push contents down towards the blade for thorough mixing and is also helpful when decanting particularly thick mixtures from the jug.

The lid, jug, blade, silicone collar and tamper are all dishwasher safe.
