A steel disc is cast into the base making it suitable for all hob types, including induction. This frying pan is also oven proof up to a temperature of 260°C.
The Stratanium non-stick coating is PFOA and PFOS-free, metal utensil safe and offers exceptional performance for perfect cooking results. In fact Scanpan's Stratanium non-stick coating is so good it is designed for fat-free frying so you only ever need add oil or fat for flavouring purposes, making it a healthy choice for the kitchen.
A riveted, brushed stainless steel handle transfers very little heat and is comfortable to hold.
