This Tokyo Design Studio Tokyo Blue Mixed Bowls 1600ml Ramen Botan is made from porcelain and features a beautiful blue and white design.
The Tokyo Blue collection is created using a technique called sometsuke. This technique involves painting cobalt blue pigment onto the white porcelain surface before glazing and firing. This design featuring varying themes of flowers and fauna is associated in Japanese culture with elegance, simplicity and tranquillity.
